Tom’s 3 Peaks Challenge for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People

This picture was the last time I was on Ben Nevis with my hearing dog Nevis. When I lost my hearing in 2000, I had to wait till 2004 till Nevis came into my life. He changed my life completely; he gave me the confidence to go out into the community and to be more assertive about my deafness and not to be afraid. Nevis would make sure I was safe at home by

Please support me and Harley in raising funds for my favourite charity, by either using the link below:

I am lucky now to have “Harley” – All dogs bred that are suitable, are bred by Hearing Dogs for deaf people. It costs in the region of £5,000.00 to train one dog and in the region of £40K to look after that dog during its life. Every dog bred by Hearing Dogs will have an active part in assisting a deaf person of all ages. In the early hours of Saturday 21st August 2021, I will be on Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. Once we have completed about 7 hours on the hill, our support team will take us to Wasdale Head in the Lake District so that we can climb Scafell, the highest mountain in England before it gets dark. On Sunday morning 22nd August 2021 will see us on the Pygs Path on Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. After completing Snowdon, we will have breakfast on Llanberis and then come home.

Thank you all for your support
